auto motor und sport compares the Volkswagen GTI and Ford Focus. Naturally a great start to compare products begins with the GTI and ST models. The VOLKSWAGEN GOLF GTI is in its sixth generation with each iteration better than the previos. The GTI is propelled by a turbo charged 2.0 liter engine usi FSI to produce 210 HP, producing impressive sprint and top/max speed results. Albeit the GTI does have above average fuel consumption. How does it compare with the Ford Focus ST with stalwart power of 225hp? Both cars reach 0 to 100 in 6.9 seconds. But can the Ford Focus with its additional 15 HP knock off the perennial GTI off its top spot?
