With this car you get married with the gas owner
Vikrant Bhalerao
He is looking like Jessie Pinkman from Breaking bad 😂

12 years later – you can´t find a reasonably priced Corrado without heavy tuning from like 2010-2012 tuner wave.

Anyone else think Hammond started out funny and witty in the first 7-8 series, then completely changed into a scripted poor mans comic as soon as he started with the long hair, stupid clothes and voodoo necklaces?
Stephen Phillips
Brundle most certainly did describe the 190 cosworth as the best handling rear drive chassis ever made; I remember it from a contemporary interview, talking about the cars he’d owned. It was a long list. It was published in CAR magazine, where J May was then a contributor.

I would say the w210 e55 is definitely a near-futur classic

Corrado is hardly a classic haha. Pick one up for 3k
Chris Dooley
I didn’t realize Hammond had perpetuated that Martin Brundle myth about the chassis lol. Love that later episode where Jeremy calls him on the phone with Capt Slow and he says he never said that lol 😆

Good segment but I disagree with the embarrassing celica bit
Gwidon Popielski
Celica looks much cooler than that simple overpaid Corrado, but Hammond is self called guru and everybody has to follow him.

its already happen for the benz..but not for the vw

Look at what young men like..
My brother got me into Datsun 510's. back in the 80's. They were cheap. You could get them for under $1,000 (American). Today you can't get a rust-free, stock and original 510 for under $5,000. If you can find a stock and original 2-Door you're paying around $10,000.
Back in the early 2000's young guys were customizing the BMW E30. You could get a good one for under $2,000. Today in 2020 a straight, clean E30 is over $5,000.
Today I see young guys are customizing Subarus, and Infinity's. You can get these cars in good shape for under $5,000.

My prediction as of September 2020 is that classic vaxhauls such as mk2 Astra gte nova Sri and mk3 Astra gsi will sky rocket because there are none left and you only have to look at the prices of nova gte‘s sand mk1 Astra gte’s to see how crazy the will go.

I think BMW m140i might become a classic or start rising in price soon. Especially manual ones. Thoughts before I buy one?
Asif Noaman

I swear my uncle had this car in the 90’s. I loved it as a kid, his was dark blue, I was infatuated with it. But his dumbass sold it.

And when we are all made to give up the internal combustion engine what then. And from what's being pushed its getting closer, they will all become 'X' amount of scrap. Plastic bodies, electric motors & batteries is all we will be able to have. That's the future.

This is the best advice I ever got from watching Top Gear. Pontiacs and Saturns aren’t exactly the best performance names on the market, especially since they’ve been gone for over a decade, but the Pontiac Solstice and the Saturn Sky are pretty much fitting the same bill as the Corrado VR6 and that pink 180E

That car in forza!!
cumber-slicee
The 190e especially
MrManiac
Coming to this video in 2020, the Corrado is actually a very rare car (in USA) its Vr6 is famous for tunning and reliability.
