Does anybody notice the irony of an Englishman complaining about American quality? Seriously do we need to bring up 50 years of Lucas electrics and the fact that the only reason jaguar wasn't rubbish at this time was because ford owned them and finally put in some quality control…

Ps it's not really a Caddy, it's a rebadged Opel

This still looks like rubbish. The headlight is ugly, the design of the body is ugly, even the car logo looks horrible. It utter rubbish for a car. It's so square and boxy and….just plain ugly.

As an American, I don't blame Clarkson hating American cars during this time period

Gotta remember this was made while the US car industry was still in it's Malaise Era where everything made over here was pretty much crap, especially if it was made by GM.

Nearly every line Hammond say is something Clarkson had said before him. Imagine Hammond and Vicky on top gear and he copied her lines.

Calls the STS rubbish yet buys one for the China trip and says it's the best because it's got really good air conditioning.

Jezza said he hated off road suvs back in the 90s but then ended up having a range rover since it's release in 2003.

    Funny how opinions change.

My parents had Cadillacs all my life growing up. I hated the 1973 and 1980 models. The 1991 model at least had a muscular engine with a great exhaust note, but it too was for 70-90 year olds like the other two. The CTS was the first Cadillac I could have mustered any interest in, despite about 20 years of experience with them, previously.
