@chris93TV Hey, I live in the outer suburbs of Melbourne, Australia. Where are you from?

Hey, look i have a question about rendering the video.
How can I render a (let's say) 5 minute video and keep both the quality and prevent lag-iness in the final rendered version?
because only after I re-render the video in movie maker I can make it look smooth, I'm pretty sure that's not the way it's suposed to be..

@Flashingflash Okay, so where did you get the video from, and what were you hoping to use it for? That will influence on what you do with it.

@TopGearGTAIV It's my own camera footage saved as .mov
I'm using it for a school project. It's pretty much done, I only lack the ability to render it right..

@Flashingflash Are you wanting to render it, so you can share it with people/show the the teacher, or have it in a good format for further editing? All my uploads are MP4s @720p. My intermediate files are MOV with a PhotoJPEG codec

Since people usually report problems an out-sync when adding sound directly in after effects, I think I'd want to render the video and then edit the sound in. What do you think?

@Flashingflash For serious sound work, you need a realtime composer, like Premiere, where you can play audio in the timeline without having to RAM render footage, etc. I use Premiere Pro to assemble everything together

@MrDannyk123 Which part? In order to stretch the rectangles, you need to double click on the edge of them. Is that what you meant?

@Pppfjchfffu It's Adobe AfterEffects. I bought my copy, but if you like to stealing like everyone else seems to, then I'm sure you can find a way of getting it for free.

@HiThere800 Yes, you can use Garbage Mattes (I think) and move them around, but it will obviously be trickier cos Premiere is not really designed for that 🙂

@Smithtyler123X I made that one in After Effects using the "Puppet Tool" they're pretty easy to make. Either that or you can follow one of the original iPod ad tutorials, same concept 🙂

The song name is "Jessica," by the Allman Brothers.
It's part of the instrumental version.
Just remember that the song can't be used for monetized videos, unless you manage to get permission, with proof, and even then it may be denied.
