dude he coulda just brought it down right there at the airport…..this ruined the illusion of realism for me, as an aviation nerd! If that airship was actually posing a danger to the traffic at the airport, they would have grounded all planes and put the ones coming in on "hold patterns" around the airport – and they CERTAINLY would have made him land IMMEDIATELY.

ATC or whoever was really stupid in the airport scene. James literally says he has no control over the airship and (presumably) ATC just tells him to clear the area.
