Finally we get to hear the exhaust note when flooring the throttle and I just knew it – while the DB11 sounds very refined, the exhaust note of the naturally aspirated DB9 is miles better. The DB11 has unfortunately lost the characteristic crackling full-bodied exhaust note of the naturaly aspirated DB9. One can hear that the turbo fans have muffled the exhaust note. That is why I hate that regulations call for a smaller V12 engine with turbos. They should go for electric hybrids instead of conventional turbo fans.
