I'll take the Honda straight up for reliability! What good are bells and whistles if it's always in the shop? Check out consumer reports least rated vehicles. Chrysler brands all over the list!

06 Odyssey and 05 Caravan both have been equally reliable for our extended family.

Odyssey I guarantee has better sales worldwide…. Pacifica should have stayed as a crossover

Reliability on the pacifica is shit

out in the real world with real users, the purchasers of either will be happy… but refinements, and comfort, reliable and cost to own will put the Honda on top again. Only missing SH-AWD for same price.

You might as well throw in a CVT if you're gonna put in a 10 speed transmission. Honda or not, I can't see that being very reliable long term…

Odyssey looks better, hold its value better, probably will preform better, and most definitely is more reliable. Plus, the Odyssey doesn't look like a rental car. Pretty sure if they had the Odyssey out on the market already, it would've beat the Pacifica for the North American Utility of the Year award.

The Chrysler is nice but the Odyssey is the way to go.

if the pacifia had the odessy reliability ill choose but its achrysler which means bad reliability and expensive spare parts …yes honda spares are very expensive but hondas are reliable as heaven

The Honda historically is more reliable – but there is no reliability data on neither on them. Chrysler decided to put the most total reliability test miles on the Pacifica (3m-4m miles), and Honda is just "reliable" because it's "a Honda".

I'd take the Pacifica over the Odyssey any day – you don't look like a soccer dad, you have a simple, roomy interior w/ Stow & Go, you have a simpler touchscreen, and you most definitely have something more unique.

I have a Pacifica and it's great I traded in a 2017 pilot and leased the Pacifica. They both have the same transmisions zf9. But Chrysler shift points are better . The pilot didn't do anything special my wife loves the Pacifica. It will be just as reliable as a Honda. They all use the same parts anymore so reliability is probly gonna be equal. I herd Honda has an optional 10 speed Honda trans. No thanks Honda trans stink. If you get the new Odey stick with the zf 9. I think Honda could have done better with the styling from the back doors on it looks sad in the back not sporty. Plus the Pacifica is actually the biggest minivan they just now how to style it so it looks sporty
    Ire and smaller

Chrysler has had its 9speed transmission on the market longer, refined it and thus more reliable now. Both engines are equally reliable, the Pentastar is a work horse and has been just as reliable as a Honda or Toyota engine. Chrysler has stepped it up finally in styling and interior build quality to compete.

Lol I love American cars when they're good but anything from Dodge is shit. I have had two minivans, a 01 Odyssey and a 07 Town and Country. The T&C was a complete shit van. Got rid of it and I STILL have the Oddyssey.

Honda win in my book! Stow and Go means thinner seating and less support because it has to be designed to fit into the floor. I mean- how often are you going to be taking the middle seats out, it's a minivan- if you're buying it, you're doing so to carry people.

Those gash swoops on the Honda sides are ridiculous and hideous. And instead of the whole back looking like it was designed by 2 different countries, the back 1/2 now looks like Godzilla stepped on it and smooshed it down. And the slidey seats are useless when the middle seat is in.

Reliability, best selling branch, innovation technology. I will go for Honda. However, I do like the latest function of second seats of Chrysler Pacifica. Great comparison for both branches.

No Sto-N-Go and another trouble prone shitty Honda transmission=keep your Honda. Give me a Pacifica!
