I was never big on the 488. But it was a huge part of culture I guess. I was always more of a Lamborghini guy.

It's only worth it if you can afford it, otherwise it's overpriced.

I was lucky enough to drive a 2018 488 Spider for more than 200 miles last week. Let me tell you no video can do this car justice, the engine sound and driving dynamic is unbelievable. If you want to drive it around town it handles like a regular commuter car, very easy going. As soon as you give it more than half pedal, however, the savageness of the turbo V8 unleashes and the car eats pavement at an unbelievable rate. The car handles better than any I've ever driven, and it truly feels like an extension of your own hands and feet. It's ruined my expectations for how a car should drive

3 years have passed, and it’s funny how you had to fast forward the axel lift, while that’s pretty much the speed now of the current C8 Corvette. And almost everything that wow’d you back then is in a Corvette Convertible today at nearly a quarter of the price, right down to the little dude jumping out of the front trunk. My how far the car industry has come in just 3 years.
