1:48 "In 2009 the economy was bad…" Hmmm… I wonder what had just happened? Maybe there was a change in leadership somewhere that began tanking the economy every way they could…

i like these, but 50 grand for a boat anchor V6? nah. at the moment a V8 grand cherokee for the same money makes more sense to me.

I got this for my dad because it’s perfect for a 55 year old. No big electronics.. no extra stuff that he’ll never use, etc, hope they keep making these, absolutely perfect

As a Toyota owner for many years, I also used to think that the gear patterns was a bit strange, but now my arm have this strong muscle memory on it that I never-ever really have to look at the gear to know what I’m shifting it to (even when changing at the speed on light!) Now I think I will miss it if they decide to go straight like other cars and pulling K-turns over double yellows won’t be the same

Look more closely at "50 state emissions" line, at 11:33 time, under this 50 State Emissions, there are 4 more lines, to the right is only 4 prices. So there is no charge for 50 state emissions. Just a slight illusion.

Am i the last one on earth who wants halogen headlights? Whats wrong with halogen headlights? I can replace the bulb quite easy and the replacement parts are cheap, too. All i want is good old reliable! and cheap! halogen headlights.

I bought my old 4Runner new in 2000, paid $27,800. Sold it 20 years later for $13,000. So it just barely lost 50% of its value in 20 years. Kinda wish I didn't sell it though… Such a phenomenal vehicle.

We have Toyota Fortuner instead of these in India and other south asian markets and it really sells well over fords and other brands suvs with more features and technology. Only because of its old school ruggedness and the feel and control of a vehicle it gives to its owner.

I thought my 1999 4runner was wearing out at 180K miles, so I went out and bought a 2018. Now two years later, I still have two 4runners in the driveway, because I put a little money into fixing up the 99 and it just wont die. The rear window is for the Dogs. Dogs just love it.

I own a TRD Pro 4Runner. Doug just doesn’t get it.

My guns are always ready to slide into the 4Runner. Roof top tent, Pelican cases, and a road shower.

Eat your heart out pavement princesses. Roads are optional.
