Great car but Acura RDX with AWD starts under $40k and base model is well-equipped.

Leave it to the Germans to price cars where the loaded model is 45% higher than the base version.

BMWs are the biggest RIP-off… they screw you on the options packages. Volvo XC60 is much better value – well equipped right at $50k

X3 is the best car in this segment. Higher starting price with less standard features, option packages are more expansive which brings equally spec vehicles at similar prices.

How about the comfort? This is an suv after all. I find it really odd when reviewers still focus on the sportiness factor and not even talk about ride comfort when they’re reviewing suv’s. I wonder if they would still focus on cornering, 0-60, and whether it’s fun to drive when they review big rigs. I won’t be surprised.

I always wonder if these reviewers are being lazy and using the computer to calculate their MPG’s. Or are they actually dividing their fuel tank usage (gallons) with Miles covered. Everyone knows you can’t use the computer to calculate their miles per gallon. Those computers are flawed and are not accurate. They inflate MPG’s many times.
