are we just gonna forget about the 1990s ford steering wheels

  • …and this seemed like half an hour reasoning why the F40 was better.

I would of never allowed you to get into the backseat of my 959. Your dirty gym shoes probably marred the back of my beautiful silver seats 🙄

Doug's hand gestures.. I can just see what he's doing when he's doing them lol. The funny thing is, normally his body gestures are fast and twitchy.. which means, he decided to do those slow gestures, thinking he's being real "pro" lmao. Doug is the ultimate dork and I love it.

you should start to say it was the reponse of the striped of everything F40 from ferreari it didn´t have door handles just a wire to pull to open the door and this was faster and had a better interior a proof tha porshe at this time was better building cars than ferrari and it wasn´t sold in the US, because being numbered they wouldn´t give 4 cars for us responsables to meet it´s regulations wanted to destroy 4 cars, they just said no, but here it was a faster and better car than the original F40, and about paris -dakar they ´ve won some rallyes brfore this car exixted and it´s a totall diferent car from the one that entered later in the paris-dakar, so in the US, they couldn´t be bought as ferrari let them destroy 4 F40´s it was a big loss the most talked car in the world for a short period of time till porshe proved it could build a better and confortable car so you´re information is not really acurate,. the best car inthe world as you said but it seems that it don´t matters and bnot talked about so much in the US because you didn´t wanted it,but in europe and around the world was very talked about and limited , some celebreties did bought one and were amazed this talking about racing pilots ,and group B, what! . Regards

Absolutely sick! I agree most Porsche owners wouldn’t know what they’re looking at. The “loose” steering is common for these cars. You had ballz as did the owner for letting you drive that car on the road, let alone the freeway.

When I was a kid, this was the car I had a poster of. When I was older, I had an imported German market 1986 944 and it's cool to see a lot of the shared components in this car, like the steering wheel, switches, the same mechanical door locks, and the shifter.

If you think about the point in time this car was being made a first aid kit like that makes a lot of sense for the Autobahn. I'm not saying for the person driving the 959 but if they came across another accident it could be helpful. The police and the EMTs over there on the Autobahn might have to do what borders on surgery

My favorite thing about the first aid kit is that the last item on the "Specification contents" list is… "1 Specification of contents"

The development team that worked on this was over 30 years ahead of their time. On the other hand I love how the back seat snap straps contrast with all the futuristic technology in this car.

Doug – this 959 IS a rally car (with comfort options)
However – the Porsche brand (as they typically do) brought so much performance to this particular model that you Americans became a bit confused and inappropriatly called it a 'Supercar'.
