Hopefully the 1.5 would have a manual and manual handbrake too. If you don't live on the flat, the automatic handbrake can be a bug bear.

nearly 20 years ago you could buy a clio dci turbo diesel that did 65+ mpg. my old 2008 clio averaged 63mpg but if i really wanted could get 75mpg.
so im guessing the 2020 208 does a very crap 50mpg because of ridiculous co2 restrictions, its really pathetic.

Always the same thing. Scenes at night driving in the city, playing with light angles to make the car look cooler than it is… 80% of it is marketing. I am not dissing the car, it's great, but the marketing used in cars is always the same.

No heated seats for UK versions meant I had to look elsewhere. Why Peugeot don't offer them for an extra-cost option is beyond me. Other than that – nice looking car. German version gets heated seats as standard – as do some Eastern European versions. I opted for the new Golf 1.5 R-Line instead which, thanks to a better list of options, enabled me to add heated seats as a stand-alone option.
