Don’t get all emotional! Go and test drive both, and then decide witch one is best for you? In addition, if you are brand loyal, then why are you watching this video?

2022-2023 Ford and Volkswagen is now joint and sharinh technolgy. They build Amarok base on Ford Ranger. Ranger can get Amarok Engine V6

  • Ranger is king Amarok gave me to much problems was more at the dealer than at my house…

The V6 Amarok is a class of it's own. Off road as good as the Ranger. On road better than every other one and even in towing the best option.

I have a friend that has a Ranger, and a friend that has the V6 Amarok. Yes, the Amarok is a beast when it comes to acceleration, but the Ranger is just better for living with every day.

The amarok is for real men, for instance I am 6foot5 tall and ranger is very difficult for me to control comfortably, I love it because it loves me compared to other
a$$#0Le manufacturers who don't accommodate us big people

So, when the Amarok came out in 2011, with the 2 liter BiTDi 163 or 180 Hp, everybody blame it, there is no replacement for displacement bulshit! What now? The Ranger get s the 2.0 liter Bitdi…..9 years later……

Amarok for me, almost bought a wildtrak but was put off by the amount of really serious issues people were having then had an Amarok on hire for a month or two and that made my mind up, absolutely amazing motor, especially if you are doing big mileages! One of the comfiest vehicles I’ve traveled in.

    Ranger all the way!!!

For me it would be the Ranger all the way but having said that I still think Ford went the wrong way by putting a 2L Bi-turbo in it. There was nothing wrong with the original 3.2L that it had and going to a smaller engine is a step backwards in my honest opinion. I'm writing this in Sept 2020 and already I have noticed just how many Rangers and Everest's with the 2L engine are on the 2nd hand market. All with low Kms on them.

The Ranger is the better car, you are biased towards the Ranger

The VW is more powerful and wider inside but it doesn’t have the safety and the ford is much cheaper for more options and I wouldn’t have the VW out of warranty hence why I’m about to buy a ranger

Take the ranger Far safer it has lockable tray so your stuff doesn't get knocked off far more practical for the class. Also the Amarok will be made by ford in 2021 so no need to compare any more.

My Ford Everest Turbo “Broke” with only 58K on the clock. It seems there is a massive problem with the ford Turbos that no one is talking about! Sold it immediately after being repaired by ford and got a Hilux. Stay away as far as possible from ford Shitboxs. You have been warned.

The higher price of the amarok and less safety features killed it for me

Driven both, but the VW wins hands down for me.
