The Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro is an awesome midsize truck. Today I’m reviewing this Tacoma TRD Pro to explain why, and I’m going to show you all around this Tacoma TRD Pro. Then I’m going to drive the Tacoma TRD Pro to explain how it handles on the road.

FYI – I accidentally left off the Jeep Gladiator from the DougScoring at the end. I prefer the Gladiator over the Tacoma TRD Pro, and the Gladiator has a higher DougScore (24 + 33 = 57); I simply forgot about the Jeep when I was scoring the Tacoma.

I just picked up a 1995 Toyota Tacoma 2 door 4×4 V6 in excellent shape and it's all original with 87000 miles for $3500. It was parked in a garage for almost 10 years. The only thing the guy changed was the rims and it has 31-10.50 R15 witch back then you could get that tire stock.

Honestly. I like the manual seats and the manual parking break. Its just less that can break and is a lot of money to fix

If you really like 1st gen Tacoma’s don’t buy one of these. There’s no relation. I have an 01 base model that I really love driving. The current base model Tacoma is awful so I bought a new frontier. It’s more of a plain ol truck and it was much less expensive.

Toyota puts the best colors on the Tacoma. This blue, the TRD Orange, and that awesome cement gray color.

Why does doug complain about every little thing that isnt the newest tech. People dont want plastic pieces of shit where when something brakes it costs a fortune to fix.

If I had the money to buy one the hardest decision for me would be, which color? This beautiful blue or their beautiful Sahara tan/brown color?

I'm not sure but am I the only one who still likes the old parking break style and manual seats ?? That's one thing I would keep in most cars tbh😅

That coin slot is classic in Toyota trucks and I would assume that the seats are not power seats because it adds to the overall reliability to the truck. It's interesting to think about what the engineers have in mind when designing this truck.

Toyota is famous for having colors that you will only see on a Toyota like in the 1970s it was orange and now it is that blue and they still use that orange today
