I wouldn't say "… this is where the thinking began"; more likely this is where the execution began.

1200 so called car enthusiasts don't like this video, maybe they need to stop watching these car videos & go back to the dark ages where they belong..

The first Porsche, 81 years old, est. value $20 Mil. I can't believe the owner let you take this out on a misty day. Jay won't let any of his cars see a drop of water, ever. I would say this certainly deserves the same treatment. Great vid!

The whole idea of the Volkswagen and the streamlining for this Porsche was stolen from Hans Ledwinka who worked at Tatra. Tatra filed a lawsuit and Volkswagen settled for 1M DM in court in 1965. To me Mr. Porsche and Adolf Hitler are really not the great minds in the automotive history…

What a priceless gem. Glad to see it preserved, not re-created by an overzealous restorer. Cars that have a history, have led a storied life, should wear with pride the scars they have earned.

Ferdinand Porsche was lucky to not be dominated over by the fascist Communist Regime of the Nazis. To be able to think and express freely like that. Either it was luck or it was riches, that's how those systems work though.
