The Subaru Baja Turbo Is a Weird, Fast Subaru Truck

The Subaru Baja Turbo is a very interesting car. Today I’m reviewing the Subaru Baja to show you why the Baja is so great — and I’m going to show you all around the Subaru Baja Turbo. Then I’m going to drive the Baja and explain what it’s like to drive Subaru’s odd car-truck combo.

In the 80's there was one model of Subaru 2 doors pick up, in many countries, as here in Chile and in USA.

This has got to be less practical than a regular outback right

Acceleration is really good, I give it a 2 out of 10, Handling is fine, about average and it gets a 5 out of 10, Fun Factor is only OK outside of the relatively quick acceleration it is not that much of a thrill and it gets a 4 out of 10.

Hmmm, ok makes perfect sense, it's like golf, the lower the number the better? except only randomly sometimes its the opposite. Doug score is the most confusing thing on the internet.

It’s surprisingly really practical like what can’t you do with it? I wouldn’t mind if it was my first car I’m 14

This video is exactly why I stopped watching his channel. He says the acceleration is good but gives it a 2/10. Then he says, "we all know about the head gasket thing." Well apparently Doug doesn't know that the head gasket issue was only on normally aspirated 2.5s and only on certain years. Of course he doesn't have the integrity to amend his video with any of the times he's been wildly wrong. Please Youtube, stop recommending his videos in my stream.

This guy knows his stuff and he’s both fun & interesting to listen too.
I’ve seen SO many reviewers with little to no “showmanship,” who are as bland as white bread.
    I’m a fan. 👍🏼

you could also use the subaru Baja as a mini RV, this is because you could put the tailgate down, then put the fence halfway so its facing up, then put the tailgate back up to lock the fence in the upper position, then, you could put the seat down in the backseat and remove the panel that allows you to access the bed, then, throw a tarp over the bed and the fence should support it, then, since you removed that panel in the backseat, you have room to sleep in the Baja, and you'll be safe against the hot sun and cold rain because of the tarp. Boom just taught you all how to convert your Baja into mini rv camping beast.

Subaru launched its 4-wheel drive wagon in 1975. The Subaru Brat, a sporty, 4-wheel-drive fun machine with a pickup bed and rear-facing seats in it, came in 1978. The Baja is the latest iteration of the Brat.

Subaru is coming out with the Baha again in 2021, that’s the whole reason for this commercial/review. The 2021 will have a totally different engine than previous models, so don’t buy thinking you are getting a Baha from this review, or others, in 2021.
