Lancia provided manual windows for the backseat passengers for ventilation for them. Otherwise, Lancia would have provided windows that were fixed. Manual-wind windows were provided as weight-saving windows over power windows, not as cost savings.

No other hatch in late '80 had motorised rear door windows also weight is kinda important for a race car;)

This guy has done a review on clearly his favourite car of all time. He is so passionate its funny. I had a lift in the 8 valve turbo version for one week when I was 14 doing my work experience, before this the fastest car I had been in was my father's rover 213. Its the first time I experienced a turbo and it was like having my first wank. I cant imagine this rally version. Since then I have always loved these cars and watching this i totally agree with this guys passion. The only thing I disagree on is his review on practicality. I do agree its not practical though but you dont buy this for practicality as its not a daily driver. So really it doesn't matter if the boots not big enough or whatever its an old school super car hatch back thats as rare as a 4 leaf clover. So it really doesn't matter. Now I've emigrated to Australia im the proud owner of a 700whp xr8 fgx, a 500 whp super pursuit bf ute, a 2002 sti and a turbo charged 500 hp nissan patrol but I still want this car and i put it on my bucket list for the futer. Hopefully life will be good to me so I can have this car in my garage one day. This and a lotus Carlton.
I will try best ,God bless lancia and I luv the clarkson review about lancia duping the laws to be in getting the lancia into the world rallie champions with a paper maschhe roll cage and only 200 road cars being built and not 400. Check it out if you haven't seen it please its fascinating.

You shall try to find in your area a Fiat Coupe 20 Valve turbo or a 16 vale turbo which is same engine as that Lancia.

I seriously can't listen to Doug anymore. Every sentence is over emphasized, it's exhausting to listen to him review cars.

"which is now being legally imported in US since it's over 25 years old" What? Americans, please explain!

  • Rear manual windows are quite common in developing countries like India in base variants of budget cars. Might be very unusual in the west but a common practice to cut costs here.

Almost bought a yellow Delta Evo 2 back in 1997 when the prices were reasonable (think around £12,000) but I just knew it would either rot away or get wrecked. Nowadays £40-50k for a good one I'd say

Its so funny in the end, your score is quite nerdy…..like some automobile club test crap. Just recall the smile in the first corner of your video. Italian emotion isnt compatible with the doug score imho…..design 10/10, handling 9/10, and the rest is devotion. makes it top of your list (of your heart)!
