It's funny how every 'car expert' in the comments are bagging on range rover reliability and depreciation. I've got news for you, the modern German trios are just as unreliable and depreciates like a rock, if not more. Also, I doubt any of these people have actually owned a modern rover. Dont bag on a brand just because you think it makes you look cool.

So they have to re-engineer the engine bay to fit the v8 even though the 3.0 and the 5.0 both use the same block and very similar supercharger? Sounds like pure marketing faff to me!

My 15 Range Rover has 80k miles and has been in the shop for 20 repairs which ARE NOT “regular wear and tear” and not including regular maintenance. with only one owner and 0 accidents. These cars are total money pits. They’re cool and fun but if you want a fast suv look elsewhere because range rover and jaguars reliability is fucking horrible. This is coming from someone who works at a car dealership in service and I work on my own project car as well. I do enjoy driving my car but man the reliability really breaks the bank and it’s just not worth it.
