Just heads and manifold… Not that impressive

My red bone-stock used PT Cruiser had more Italian luxury than this.

It’s ugly. It’s unreliable. It’s poor in terms of quality.
But it’s a Maserati! …yeah… that’ll impress those who don’t know too much about cars.

Looks beat to shit. Its 16 years old and will still fall apart regardless of the transmission type. I would never spend $20,000 on that piece of junk. For someone who knows so much about cars…what makes that old money pit a good value?
AkiKimurr
He just doesn't like the car and shows it everywhere he can even when it makes absolutely no sense. And yeah, this engine differs from 430's unit quite significantly and it is not derived: this is the first vehicle where this engine appeared, so this is more of a Maserati powerplant, rather than Ferrari, read about cars a bit before reviewing them, Doug, please.

I own Maserati 4200GT Cambiocorsa. It is fast, reliable, convenient when you got used to transmission, and it is beautiful.

Pedals close together, it is a drivers car…..

Here we go again with Doug not doing his homework . First, none of them came with an "automatic" they were all 6 sp manuals, this particular model is minus the hydraulic F1 shifting. The F1 gearbox is the desirable option, same F1 gearbox the F430 was offered. And when Doug reviews the 430 he never mentions it has an 'automatic' option. I have a 2006 Gran Sport and driving in manual mode is how it was meant to be driven and I can promise you the shifts have been tightened up, not a F430 levels, but tighter. And there's a module you can add to make it even tighter, the F1 shifting is the reason to get this car and was ahead of its time. Today all supercars use this type of shifting. Again, none are 'automatic' transmissions, Doug should be embarrassed how many times he keeps saying it, because it shows his ignorance and limited ability to grasp the mechanics of vehicles.

I always thought the coupe had some appeal. Didn’t realize there was a six speed manual until this video. Very cool.

It’s still better that all your shitty American cars. And that says something. A mid-engines Corvette? A hell cat? Anything else? Gimmeabreak.
Veyronp87
come on Doug, you're better than reviewing at dealerships like that lol.

Doug's in Haiti👍

Wow love this Car

I love sound olders better maserati grandsport have best sound

This car is so underwhelming. It’s a Maserati but not in the way that evokes pride in its owner.
It became a bargain because it was designed as if it was on a tight budget which shows very much so. The design alone… For a person who lacks knowledge of cars could believe it was a Skoda or a sporty Volvo. I am not ranting by the way, but even when putting aside the maintenance issues, it is still a horrible car, though, better than the 3200 gt looks wise

John Sacramoni always wanted to own a fine Italian sports car.

This guy is good for reviewing VW Golf 3 – the key is black and has a key on the button for opening the doors. So if you are stupid, you are
watching at the buttons to find which is the button for opening the doors- and if there is no button with key on it , you don't know what to do.
It is so difficult situation.
Uncleogee
Even if you ignore the wear and tear, this car looks like shit
Bob Joe
Doug should have bought it — it's a Maserati he actually likes, and it's a rare model.
NarrowPath
7:13. Doug, must you bite your lip when you get excited. It’s gross.
Liam Bassitt
This car is so ugly
Bogdan Panek
I wouldn't mind getting one. Black on black w/brushed aluminum wheels, lowered and the exhaust done. The "ferrari derived" engine was actually built by Ferrari.
Justin Bennitt
The two little trays between the back seats are where the seat belt buckles should sit.
Eamon Os
Is it the 3200 GT?
David Khugaev
Interesting how much Insurance costs on those?
TheHiddenOne
Ah, this is basically the same model as the car from Car Trek 2, or the same model… Just with an interior and no fire damage.
Ben Informato
Drive first class at coach prices. A sports coupe for the frugal gentleman.

5:27 I liked this part

I think the "growth" is for your wrist possibly so you dont rest your hand on top of the shifter. Myth is that you can wear some part out by constantly having pressure on the top end of it. And the easy access parking brake boot is mast likely for easier access to adjust the e brake cable. All obviously my opinion.
Rosalie Kraljevich
What a load of shit, go back to you bunny car!
Michael Austin
Why this guy is not only Annoying he's just an idiot
