I would buy Jimny, but it is bad idea because of the fact Japanese will stop importing them in the UK after 2020. Pointless. There will be other cars and other needs

Please spend more money. In Japan, I spend money to paint the interior. Since there are no troublesome regulations overseas, it will be easy to modify. It's certainly a hassle, so I want you to be satisfied when you buy it, but Japanese manufacturers won't do it forever.
