Set a reminder on your phone to exercise the electronic 4wd. Genuine Toyota parts like running boards, rear deck cover and wheel locks can be found on Amazon. If you decide to get rainguards for the windows, recommend do not buy the in channel rain guards. They can be hard on the electric window motors. The infotainment has an option for screen off. This helps night time driving.

Man, in Texas I couldn’t even drive through dealerships without multiple sales people trying to interact with me. They do not care that COVID is a thing.

You're mad about sales people not wearing masks, but you let your own kids touch your face.

I run a Mercedes Benz dealer near DC in Maryland … We've been slammed for the last 3 months. More than 2019..its nuts.. We are delivering, doing amazing deals and doing lots of masks, gloves and sterilizers.. Basically normal hours and business.. But less staff and have to distance and do things minutely differently..

The only criticism I have is that it is a good idea to take a used vehicle to an independent mechanic to be checked out before purchase, rather than trusting the dealership and any noises you hear on a test drive. This can save you from grief and aggravation should there be some issue that is not readily apparent.

I bought a CPO car in AZ last week (now the epicenter of the Pandemic) and the process was nothing like this^. Although there was the option to home test drive and buy online, the dealership was operating like a pandemic wasn’t happening. It was filled with ppl, no social distancing / plexiglass, and could test drive anything without sanitation in-between. Two different worlds:/

I think some people wish dealerships worked liked this all the time. Price negotiation done on the phone, sales people leave you alone, and you have enough distance to make a sound decision! I may just go out and buy a car now!
