EXTENDED: Chris Harris vs Colin McRae's WRC Subaru Impreza | Top Gear

Going sideways takes many forms. There’s the artist – Colin McRae – World Rally Champion who somehow won myriad rallies without wipers on his side windows. And then there’s your mate’s Corsa with milk-crates under the rear wheels. Comparing the two is like taste-testing your Nan’s lasagne against a plate of cold toad. Impossible.

And that’s why, in Series 28, Chris Harris presented a piece all about Colin’s journey to becoming WRC champion, and not a film about your mate Reg’s VXR. Here’s Harris getting behind the wheel of the very car that took McRae to the podium.
