I am inclined to the Defender because if I need offroad I need to DRIVE to the place first, which have to involve highways and the defender definitely would be much more safer and faster. with a similar off road ability defender wins.

I'll tell you this. I'd take a Bronco over the Defender any day. If for nothing else, at least Ford didn't COMPLETELY RUIN an icon like Land Rover did. The new defender is an abomination.

    Bronco…and I'm English.
The Defender is too plastic and too expensive. The fact that it's built in Slovakia has put off many potential buyers here.
If Ford change their decision, and decide to sell the Bronco here, it will sell very well if they price it correctly. Jeep priced their Wrangler wayyyy too high here, at £50,000 ($65,000) and I've still yet to see one on the road!

I don't get it, why pick Badlands option with added sasquatch package ? Wouldn't it be better to just get a base with sasquatch package ? The cost would be way less and yet still have the best performance needed, not only that but the comparison is pretty weird overall.

Wow , the only thing missing was the 18 foot american flag waving in the midday sun light on top of that bronco and people lighting sparklers up shouting u s a … how biased can you get ???

She mentioned the tires disparity but that should be emphasized more strongly. The Defender's tires are totally inappropriate for the trail. Too small a tire, too big a wheel and too short in the sidewall. That's a big win for the Bronco.
And then, she didn't mention the biggest factor at all, and that's that the Defender is a car! It's a unibody, as opposed to the Bronco's body on frame construction. Land Rover claims their unibody is stronger than a body on frame, but that's ridiculous. The Defender would have to weigh ten thousand pounds to be as strong as if it had an actual frame. The Defender would not last long being used off road or continually towing that ridiculous 4 ton tow rating.

The Defender specs beat the Bronco in most categories BUT YOU choose the Bronco? SERIOUSLY? A honest review, the Defender is far and away the best choice.

The Bronco looks great but this must be just about the most biased comparison I have ever seen. According to this, the Bronco's 10speed trumps the Defender's 8. Why? Because 10 is a bigger number? That's hilarious. I don't know whether the Bronco's transmission is better or not, but your reasoning on this point is not helpful. Oh yes, and let's give the Bronco a point for being smaller. What?
Why not give it another point while you're at it for not having any doors? In spite of this nonsense, I really like the look of the Bronco. I think though that these vehicles are aimed at somewhat different audiences..

I would like to see the BRONCO 2020 in Europe …. with its 2.3 L egine – the market for this car is also here – 1. argument is price tag of Wrangler 50.000+ € and the Defender almost 60.000 € – not dollars – ….. compared to the Bronco! 2. about the Defender – Yes I like a lot, but building the car up to my wishes I stay around 100.000,- € – sorry thats far to expensive for a lot of families 2. Jeep Wrangler – Yes I like also a lot, but here as well the price tag is almost the double of an older Wrangler TJ (I had one) I stay around 58.000 ,- € with some extras discounted … now comparing the 3 options Defender, Wrangler and Bronco based on its price .. the FORD Bronco is the most interesting one …..(price) …… Coolness Factor 500% Ford Bronco compared to the Defender and Wrangler ….. Usage and adaption factor (Ford Bronco) 800% ….. Ford is almost the oldest and most experienced Car building company in the world …. quality price ratio = all times just and correct – so the retro product I see has a very broder market ! This Jeep/FIAT mmhh I have my doubts ….. and I do not want to buy a Land Rover due to BREXIT and more important …. 100K for a Defender, where higher class models with some extras – even cheaper – thats far stupid ….. @Ford Please do a deep study on the gold (BRONCO) you have to offer your car also in Europe ,,,, you will kill the Jeep and Defender market right away ! A german Mercedes driver, living in Spain and YES I would move from my MB G-Class (120.000€) to the Bronco ……..

If you're looking at a bronco 2 door badlands with lux package, then you're priced at pretty much the exact same as a defender 90 base with very similar specs and a nicer interior. I have a reservation for the bronco but if the dealerships in my area try to screw with me I'm just going to go down the road and put in an order for a defender 90 instead.
