They talked a lot about "feel" in the reveal, but will it have hydraulic steering? Because nobody makes an EPS that comes close to good hydraulic sports car steering feel.

0:48 I like the concept (color) art of the rear more than what's on the production model (too much black rear diffuser) but it's still a sharp-looking Z nonetheless.

Rear end looks outdated in spite of the LED-lights.

I don’t find the door handles to be cheap feeling or looking, or weird. Why are reviews always an arrogant rush to the lowest common denominator which by definition is the lower end of average. You should stick to objective points and leave your uninspired personal taste to your personal conversations.

WELL!…IT IS PRETTY MUCH , JUST AS I THEORIZED & SUSPECTED , THAT IT WOULD TURN OUT!!!!

BUT WITH A LITTLE BIT OF A SURPRISE! :

    ~

IT LOOKS LIKE A COMBINATION OF ::

    1. A SMALL! COMPACT! VERSION! OF A **2015 – 2020 `FORD` “MUSTANG“**

    2. JUST ABOUT ANY MODERN TYPICAL **`PORSCHE`**

    3. AND A **2009 – 2020 “370 Z“**

    4. AND MAYBE A SMALL DOSE, OF THOSE OLD **1960s & 70s `NISSAN` “Z“** CARS . , THAT EVERYONE LIKES!

    ~

WHICH SHOULD NOT BE SURPRISING! , BECAUSE **FORD** & **NISSAN** DO! HAVE SOME KIND OF AFFILIATION CONNECTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WHICH I SHOCKINGLY! . SURPRISINGLY!. DISCOVERED! , SEVERAL YEARS AGO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ~

JUST LIKE “CHRYSLER“ & “MITSUBISHI“ …&.. “FORD“ & “MAZDA“

    & VARIOUS OTHER AUTOMOBILE COMPANIES.

    ~

AND THE HEADLIGHTS ON THIS NEW “`Z“` DO LOOK SIMILAR , TO THE HEADLIGHTS , ON THE NEW “`FORD BRONCO“` !

    ~

AND THE INTERIOR : LOOKS VERY MUCH “`370 Z“` !!

    ~

    SO!…..THIS NEW “Z“ DOES LOOK GOOD! & ALRIGHT! & SPORTY! & EVERYTHING! , , ,

BUT IT IS NOTHING GREATLY EXTRAORDINARY! or ASTOUNDINGLY UNIQUE & MAGNIFICENT! & AWE INSPIRING!!!!

    ~

I LIKE THE TAIL LIGHTS! — -BUT STILL FAIRLY TYPICAL & COMMON , FOR THIS MODERN TIME TODAY!!

    ~

    ALSO! :

    THEY ARE COPYING! & IMITATING! & RIPPING OFF!! *****K N I G H T . R I D E R**** WITH THAT MUSIC!!!!!!!!!

Nissan blew it again. They should realize what worked and made them famous, that was their straight 6 engines! They should have used the RB twin cam straight 6. The single overhead cam straight 6 used in the 240Z's would run 250,000+ miles and were very powerful lots of potential to modify and the RB's took it to the next level and today are in the top 3 for desired engines for tuners and swaps next to the GM LS V8's, theToyota JZ twin cam straight 6. This will be just like the 350Z a mild short term thing that never accomplishes the desired brand boost that they need. They need to scrap the V6 and go back to their roots.

The addition of a Manual transmission in 2022 is already an achievement already and the retro rectangular taillights make a return. No more ugly triangular tailights!!!
The front is also a clean new design without the stupid corporate "V motion" grill Nissan has been gluing into every single car. This is a fresh design break from Nissan and the right direction.

The current 370Z has never been redesigned since 2009. But this is a great welcome. My favorite Z car when I was a kid was the 300ZX in the 1990s.
