An interesting video. I have been driving the previous generation twice. Maybe the most fascinating point is that when you go fast and press the throttle fully you don't feel the speed at all. I like the fact that you have got a proper button to turn in order to set your flow of air. According on the video there are like less wood on the overal than in the previous generation. The presenter has got talent to describe the car during the test drive. Was he a journalist for the Car Magazine UK or for EVO UK. Thanks for clarifying.

"No longer based on a BMW 7 series" Yet it looks more like a BMW than any other RR. Very disappointed with this. I won't be buying one.

The grill is improved over the more recent Mack truck-like versions. Overall it still seems to be trying just a bit too hard and less confident of itself, styling-wise. A real Rolls-Royce would walk into a Savile Row clothier as if they had been there before.

12:58 I've always wondered how loud a Rolls-Royce A/C is. Thanks for clearing that up

Excellent video review! It's the first of the 'modern' Rolls-Royce bodies that isn't hideously boxy.

This is a good move for RR. The idea of having a BMW8 dressed as a RR I always thought it ludicrous…

It’s a beautiful car, but it here is no getting around that in just in a short time, they have major issues. Leaking oil for one. A car of this cost should be trouble free for years, like a Toyota

I do not like luxury cars to be limited to four seats. It is an automobile, not a loveseat to watch television. Plus, the ceiling headliner is an expensive gimmick. A Rolls is a supreme automobile…not a living room in a house.

As you know Henry I am a regular and subscriber to your great cartube channel.

But I feel like putting something back into the online car enthusiast community, and not be typically critical!

I feel like throwing a big nugget in here to all cartubers, as I’ve not seen any of you run with it so far?
Never in the History of the Automobile, in this Cov-19 Pandemic year, or never in my lifetime, I was born in 1965, has the Car become much more important to us all, other than just a means of transportation!! Many of us have been forced to live within the small boundaries of our houses and homes. Our cars are the PERFECT means with which we can all still safely go out and live somewhat during this time! With our Car’s inherent “safety cocoon”!! I am sure it has been more than just commuting, they are directly keeping us all sane, more healthy, contributing to our overall mental health and most importantly making us all feel more optimistic about our Post-Pandemic lives!!!! In my eyes, this has been the YEAR OF THE CAR!!!!

I should mention this as well. I am sure many of us here know of the inevitability of a financial depression recession world wide now. And many, many large and small companies going broke. Many larger companies crying they’ve had the worst sales this year in their short histories, ie Car Manufacturers.

BUT! I am sure I am not alone in noticing this right now! Who knows of a family member or friend, that has bought a new or even brand new car this year? For me, 2 neighbors have bought brand new cars, my niece bought a brand new SUV this year, and I have seen more trailers with old cars ontop than ever before in my street!!!! I have even added an old classic car to my Dream Garage Collection this year!! I personally think we are all buying MORE cars this year then I can remember…No matter what the media is telling us all about, with our inevitable recession, and no one having any money to spend.

In short..It really is the YEAR OF THE CAR!!!!

My 2 cents. I’ve put forward this year to our online car enthusiast community.

And thank you, if you’ve read my longish comment this far and for the couple of minutes of your time!

Love the way the Ghost wafts over the road in this review – those long range shots really help capture that for the viewers. Somehow the car is sitting too low on those wheels for a Rolls like when the air suspension has lost its pressure. 🙂

The rear-end styling of all Rolls-Royces has always been extremely plain. In the 70s I followed a Shadow I for miles and just thought it was some old Rover or Humber.
