1:42 I still have questions about this one. even with the increased efficiency of electric range getting enough batteries in the truck to go any real distance is a challenge. Even if one does fit all those batteries, charging them is a much bigger challenge. If the hub has a quick charge, and the truck does round trips only, maybe it could work.

But for this I'm still a hydrogen fan.

note to self – work on the on the russian nesting tank project.

The roadster, semi, and cybertruck programs are relying on the new 4680 bettery cells. I would rather wait a little longer for a significantly better product.

What up letting the S bomb through? I expected better professionalism of this channel.

One of the greatest disruptors of all time during a disruptive pandemic while getting to scale 3 separate battery chemistries in a new 'tabless' form factor while developing, producing, and utilizing new alloys at an industrial scale while near doubling their production footprint. I can wait.

Moan, moan, moan, I want, I want like a spoilt brat, the guy is a genius, so what he's late? Take his place and see if you can do better? Deadlines are unpredictable across all industries, shortage of staff, rising costs, having babies, fighting environmentalists, smoking weed etc, not an easy task. 😁🍺

What about the Y coming EARLY?
Look at the amount of work it’s taking to produce these things. It’s really pretty amazing all things considered. Look at how fast they’re building factories to produce the whole vertically integrated thing.
    Slow, old news Emmett.

Emme, so good to see you again!!!
In Musk we don't trust…electric cars are not really very green at all, and sadly the trucks well be even less green. They are cool tho.

I don't understand why the Cybertruck's peak roofline occurs where nobody is seated, then slopes back drastically to reduce headroom for the rear passengers….sorta dumb design, even from a form follows function thing.

Very stupid take. Tesla is already building factories and battery plants to make these products at breakneck pace. It literally can't go any faster

Space Karen pushes those absurd "dealines" as an implied free overtime for their employees. Just look up the employment practices in that company. It's by far the worst corporation on the market.

I guess the host missed the tweet where the CT timeframe was changed shortly after the unveil. Becuase most of the preorders were actually for the tri motor not the single motor

Deadlines only matter if there is a window they need to hit. One of the benefits of being ahead is you can take longer to do something right.

Heh. Tesla currently has their hands full cranking out Model 3 and Model Y (which was released well ahead of schedule, btw) as fast as they can in order to meet worldwide demand. Giga Shanghai (which came online in record time) has already ramped up production to over 5,000 per week and is running 24×7. Giga Berlin and Giga Austin (where CyberTruck and Semi will be built) are also coming together rapidly, as frequent drone videos will attest. I too eagerly await CyberTruck production, but a Model Y Performance is helping pass the time until then. πŸ™‚
