Honestly I’m a big fan of the Escalade and with this model I got to say don’t like the way they shrunk the headlights. It looks like a Tahoe. Not saying something is wrong with the Tahoe but if I buy a suv that looks like a Tahoe then I’m buying a Tahoe.

I know the Escalade is supposed to be some sort of status symbol, but it's impossible for me not to think of it as a badge engineered Chevy. And since the GLS might as well just be a GLE…for that money I would take an E63S wagon every day of the week.

I think you guys are idiots. I've driven all of these, including the X7, and the GLS is far and away the best of the best. You decided to compare the GLS to the S class instead of the Mercedes. If you want to do that, next time park the S next to it instead of a Caddy.
