The new gull wing doors, including the new maserati, all lift the door sill up with the door, this is a new requirement to cater for the fact that now most people are fat, this is so they can get in and out and step directly onto the floor. Old school lambos you had to step over the sill, but this meant the door when open was slim and beautiful, now with these cars when the doors are open it looks like two barn doors over your head.
