This is like the 3rd time GM has said they were serious about electric vehicles, though happy to see they are looking more serious about the future. Too bad they waited until Elon Mush became the richest man in the world with Tesla having massive lead.

OK, not sold on the Ulti-everything branding and the Ultium battery cell-to-module-to-pack is going to look dated if Tesla gets their cell-to-structure architecture working with the 4680 cells but I do think that it makes sense for GM with their multiple brands and range of vehicles in most categories. Looking forward to checking out whatever they release in the "value mid to full size SUV" segment when we're ready to retire our Honda Pilot.

I really like that so many women and POC are in charge at GM. I like the intro expressing outrage at the murder of Black people in this country and the resolve to be allies to POC at the company. Giving a big chunk of money to BLM organizations and the NAACP would help people like me feel as if they are really committed to the cause of racial equality. Also, the technology presented here is amazing! With the women in charge, the POC in charge and the new technology I feel like I'm looking at a 21st century company.
